In the fall season when the days get shorter and colder a lot of people tend to feel depressed.

The main reason for feeling down in fall is the lack of sunlight. When it’s getting dark, our bodies produce the hormone melatonin that makes us tired. We feel weak and out of energy.
The symptoms of depression are: feeling down and tired most of the time, mood swings, having difficulties to concentrate, craving for sweets, etc.
What you can do:

· Exercise outdoors and enjoy the natural beauty of fall.
· Try to get at least 15 minutes of sunlight each day or,
alternatively, treat yourself to a light therapy.
· Relaxing exercises, like yoga or tai chi enhance your
general well-being.
· Meet some friends.
· Enjoy a cozy, quiet evening at home.
· Think about your last vacation.
· Enjoy a bath with aromatic oils, like lavender or lemongrass.
· Take a sauna.
· Eat healthy.
· Try to get enough sleep.
Enjoy the beautiful and colorful days of fall.
